I have been away for a bit, so apologies to the legions of fans that are now in rehab due to Boatang withdrawal.
Thoughts of this, thoughts of that, its all been thoughts I tells ya, and I have to say that certain new thoughts, previously slightly naughty thoughts, have intruded. Now, calm down at the back, ‘tis not like that.
What it is like is the hardening of a real dislike of the left. Not the normal left, the mildly annoying people who harp on about silly little things like free travel for kids, but those who wish to control every facet of our lives.
These have always been on the scene, but certain things have happened in the last few weeks that have shown that are now very much in charge.
I am not a paid up member of the loony conspiracy theory mob who thinks that the commies have been running the show since 1894, I have always been realistic on the issue. People vote for Labour, they get a left wing state. It’s all very clear.
The first nail on the head is the EU and Ireland. Ireland is a democratic and relatively young state. In Europe these days there are younger, but Ireland is still up there. A referendum is there by law and so it came to pass. It lost.
Whatever the big issue, the big question, the real reason the vote was ‘No’ was quite obvious. Just like in the Netherlands and France last time, people in Europe (this is the third No vote, if others had been held it would have been more) simply don’t want the ‘Grand Project’ that the left want. People don’t want a federal Europe, they don’t want a left wing, socialist monolith running their lives.
But what turned me off, massively, was the reaction. Just like last time the heads of Germany and France, non-entities like Luxemwotsit and Belgium, all jump and down and demand that the vision is completed, that the people are wrong, that they haven’t a clue.
This arrogance symbolises the death knell of the EU. How many times do they have to be told? The treaty per se is not a real issue, but they just have to add in the security, the foreign minister, the president, the cabinet…..all the things people simply do not want and have said, very loudly time and time again, they do not want.
I still believe in Union. It is a good thing that has brought benefits, but it is now imperative that this Government is voted out and some spine restored to the UK refusal to federalism. The EU must be restored to the EEC, the real benefits returned to the original concept. If not we should leave and form a breakaway with those who feel the same, of which there are many.
Brown wants it, clearly, and this is the beginning of the socialist take over. The real takeover. Previously it was something that could be fought, we had a Tory government, it was all a battle of wills. Now we are totally surrounded and have lost all control. It is imperative that the Tories are voted in, purely to even it up, just like Boris getting in was desperate. The whole of Europe is now Red Ken.
Others are the utterly bizarre equality legislation announced today which is a blow to basic freedom, not a protection from bigotry. What it quite clearly announces is that the country is a racist pig sty that needs control and Brown is the one to do it.
Ageism is bad, but there are options. Insurers have the right to insure whomever they wish. There are plenty of companies that will cover the elderly, it’s a whole market and it is not the role of the state to legislate for the ignorance of some elderly people.
Women should have equal pay, no argument there.
However, the worst is what, in effect, is ‘positive’ discrimination. A stain upon humanity in my view. Two people go for a job, both equally qualified; one is black and is white. The job goes to the black person. Because they are balck and the company is already mainly white and therefore needs to up its number of minorities.
This says one thing about the government: as far as it is concerned, every employer sits there making a decision and thinks, ‘well I better not employ the paki, I’ll play it safe and go with the middle aged white bloke’. That is why the country is 90% white, do you see? It’s because we are all racist scum that go out of our way to not employ ehnic minorities. Can’t you see that?
This is a very dangerous piece of legislation that gives the state total control over the market through ‘equality’. There is already ample law to cover this, but it doesn’t go far enough in the quest for socialist nirvana. You must be actually told what to think.
The final thing I saw this morning: disabled dolls for disabled children. For fuck sake.
