Labour politicians really do know how to perform duplicitous bullshit on demand, do they not? This article in the Times shows Labour MPs moaning about energy companies raising prices artificially in order to cynically profiteer.
Well, this may well be the case. But why are Labour MPs suddenly deciding to stick up for the working people now, after all these years of ditching them to enjoy more fashionable arenas?
Labour know they are in trouble and their desperation and scape-goating is becoming ever desperate as they realise Labour seats are almost all under peril and the game is up. They are finished. So their best bet is to guard the core vote (futile, given years of treachery) and hope they can maintain their 30 % of the vote at election time.)
To be honest, we are looking at 1997 all over again in reverse. With the Tories having a night to remember rather than Labour. What a shame the BBC won’t be filming it that way for us – for they are so biased and left wing, they will undoubtedly be openly crying over a Tory win and right wingers in the crowd will have to make up their own entertainment at Southbank, like kids did in the 50s. Bat and ball or a few old pennies against a wall with a few girls skipping in the background.
Labour, even with the help of the deliberately pro-left, anti-Tory media, are destined to lose. But what is all this lamenting of energy and petrol prices. After all, it was Labour that went all pious about environment taxation so Britain could save the planet, and it was Labour that introduced dozens upon dozens of crazy stealth tax increases to add to the overburdening tax take of the government post Major.
It’s ok, seemingly, for the government to rip people off, but private energy firms are outrageous to muscle in on such practices. Of course, this can’t possibly be to do with spin and cynical vote stealing and deceit at all. No. Everyone knows Labour look out for the people, right?
How pathetic, that in this day and age, the most appropriate party to be seen to look after the “people” are the Tories. Not the Liberals or Labour, but the pro business party – the party of free market economics.
But is it so weird? Free Market economics, as much as it sends a shiver down the spines of spineless lefties, is good for the people and frees them more than any Keynesian run economy could.
If Labour MPs want to rip into companies for high prices they need to look at their own “price” rigging scandals and ripping off of the people. People and businesses all over Britain struggle because directly or indirectly, the government make slaves of almost all of us – driving good hard working people into the ground with rampant taxation. Is it good enough that many people “benefit” from this by receiving numerous state handouts to fund their nasty little lifestyles? Is it a good idea to pay people to breed and introduce the next generation of scum bag pieces of shit for decent kids to be forced to endure and tolerate?
Yes, companies are artificially raising prices. But Labour are the last party around to successfully put forwards the case for fairer prices. Given their own profligacy and greed.
People must wake up and soon…

It is estimated that the government will benefit by as much as £6bn from the increases in fuel prices, hypocrisy indeed. They should also be held to account as to why we have little or no reserves, for example if our gas was switched off tomorrow, we would have just 3 days supply, not to mention the effect it would have on electricity because some of our power stations run on gas.
Everytime something goes wrong, they blame the Tory party, even though they have been in power for 11 years. Yet it is this government that has encouraged workshy people with generous handouts, whilst forcing the majority of us to pay higher taxes to fund their liberalism with taxpayers money. Still I guess they have to keep their ‘core’ voters happy with something.
